the_maaaigs is a one-man project of
Ukrainian musician (Igor G.) existing
since 2007. After playing in lots of
mostly metal bands and always being
fond of eclectic experiments, Igor finally
decided to leave metal stage and started
his own electronic project. The first work
of the_maaaigs was called "pod uglom"
(cd 002 by inner destruction label) and it's
a combination of idm, ambient with some
glitch and clicks n' cuts influences. After
that the artist played a few live sessions in
Ukraine and Russia, and then recorded his
new material "sociophobe" (NOECHO Records),
inbreathed by some extreme ways of performing
industrial music stuff.
